Qualifications
Education.
Attended the University of Texas at Austin, elected to Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society, and graduated high honors with a B.S. degree in Human Biology
Attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Trained at University of California Los Angeles Neuropsychiatric Institute after medical school where she was appointed Chief Resident in the Women's Mental Health Clinic.
Continues to expand her medical and therapeutic training by attending conferences in various modalities, exceeding the minimum number of CME’s required for maintaining licensing.
Practice.
After her residency, Dr. Foster began a private practice in the Santa Monica area and has been in clinical practice since 2011.
She volunteered as staff associate physician for the inpatient unit at UCLA with admitting priviledges, and also attended for several years in the Generalized Outpatient Clinic supervising residents.
She continues to mentor residents
She worked for the county mental health clinics
